Why I’m not a Fashion Blogger

Oddly enough some mistake me for a fashion blogger. If it’s a blogging convention or networking event instantly people assume fashion blogger probably because I’m young. This makes me laugh if people only knew that my daily attire is buns and yoga pants. I salute fashion bloggers because fashion can be critiqued by many and perfected by a few. If I had to define my style it would be Kate Middleton mixed with honey boo boo mom. I’m not lazy I just will only put effort into true outings. My friends assume I have so many clothes because I’m never in the same thing twice and the trick is no post means I can reware or possibly I just don’t go out enough to be caught in repeat outfits.
I was invited to be a guest on a show the host introduced me as MomTea the fashion blogger I chuckled and corrected her I’m actually a modern-day mommy blogger. I read fashion blogs, I know mommy fashion bloggers but I don’t think it’s a skill that I’ve gained lucky enough I have my in home stylist aka my love he’s really into fashion. His fashion style is Kanye he takes much longer to dress than me and there’s always mysterious packages of clothes every week that he sneaks to order. Most of my greatest looks he’s selected.

I’m my own MUA when necessary partially because I’m to cheap to hire someone. I don’t leave the house like a rag doll but I put more effort into my toddlers fashion then my own.

For me blogging and the type of blogging I enjoy doing is lifestyle/motherhood. I could write about motherhood for hours upon hours simply because I’m passionate about it. Especially for the young moms, motherhood is unpredictable each day is different. Motherhood has changed if you’re a stay at home mom, working mom or a single mom with the changes in technology, social and life itself much has changed. Moms are like super hero’s you have to wash the dishes, clean raise the children and many times hold down a full-time job as well. So I will leave the fashion to the fashionable and I’ll just stick to what I know and learning each and everyday “modern-day motherhood”.
